Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and APPLLAB LLC ("DateX", "we", "us") governing your use of the DateX app and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using DateX, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use DateX. By using the app you confirm that you are 18 or older, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement. DateX is a place to meet other adults; it is not for anyone under 18.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
Provide accurate information and keep your profile up to date.
One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone or create an account for someone else.
You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

3. Acceptable use

Be respectful and keep DateX safe. You agree that you will not:

Harass, threaten, bully, stalk, or intimidate anyone;
Post or send content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise unlawful;
Impersonate others, misrepresent your age or identity, or use fake or stolen photos;
Spam, scam, phish, or solicit money, donations, or investments from other members;
Share other members' private information without consent;
Use the Service for commercial solicitation, prostitution, or human trafficking;
Attempt to hack, scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, at our discretion.

4. Safety

Your safety matters. DateX does not conduct criminal background checks on members. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others. Meet in public places, tell a friend your plans, don't send money to people you haven't met, and use the in-app Block and Report tools whenever you feel unsafe.

5. Content you share

You own the content you create. By posting content on DateX, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, and share it as needed to operate the Service (for example, showing your profile to other members). You are responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.

6. Purchases, subscriptions & virtual items

DateX offers optional paid features, including auto-renewing subscriptions (such as Premium tiers) and, where offered, one-time items (such as coin packs).
Payments are processed by the Google Play Store; we do not receive your card or bank details.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your Google Play account settings.
Except where required by law or store policy, payments and virtual items are non-refundable, and virtual items have no cash value and are non-transferable.
Prices and features may change; we'll give notice where required.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, put other members at risk, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that other members are who they claim to be, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, APPLLAB LLC and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the conduct of any member, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless APPLLAB LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which APPLLAB LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction — unless the law where you live gives you additional mandatory rights or requires a different venue.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
