Delete your account

You can permanently delete your DateX account and the data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it — in the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

Option 1 — In the app (instant)

Open DateX and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Settings.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and data are removed immediately, and you are signed out.

Option 2 — By email (no app needed)

If you've already uninstalled DateX, or you can't sign in, email us from the address on your DateX account and we'll delete it for you.

Please send the request from the email address linked to your DateX account so we can confirm it's really you. We do not ask for your password. We'll confirm once the deletion is complete, normally within 7 days and always within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything below is permanently erased and cannot be recovered:

Your profile — name, date of birth, gender, who you want to meet, bio, interests, city, and all optional details (job, education, height, religion, star sign)
Your email address and phone number
All of your photos — profile photo, gallery photos, and your verification selfie
Your messages, flirts, letters, and any voice notes or images you sent in chat
Your swipes, likes, and matches
Your blocks, notification history, and push-notification token
Your sign-in account itself

What we keep, and for how long

Safety reports filed about you by other members	So someone can't erase a record of abuse by deleting and re-registering. Your name and profile are removed from these — only the report itself remains.	Up to 3 years

Subscription and purchase records	Held by Google Play and our billing provider (RevenueCat) to meet tax, accounting and refund obligations. We don't hold your card details at any point.	As required by law

Nothing in this table is used to build a profile of you, shown to other members, or used for advertising.

Note about subscriptions. Deleting your DateX account does not by itself cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the Play Store: Play Store → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DateX → Cancel.
